We've had an excellent start to 2023! Sessions have been busy, and in some cases oversubscribed, so we definitely recommend booking ahead or helping your young person book online to secure their place on the session. It's also the best way to know if we're open, as we remove sessions if there's a planned closure for staff annual leave. We're a small team and have a minimum of two qualified youth workers running each session so managing staff leave can be tricky. Thank you for bearing with us.
January 14th saw our first day trip, and we headed with a minibus full of rippers to Spit and Sawdust in Cardiff. S&S is a large indoor skatepark that's recently undergone a complete overhaul and expansion.
The new baby vert (9ft tall halfpipe) saw some first big drop ins for those brave enough to peer over the edge and commit to the drop!
Unfortunately we did see a heavy slam for 1 young person who unfortunately broke her ankle, and we wish her a speedy recovery and get back to skating soon!
